Last Saturday I took part in a short mountain ultramarathon (50K only) It is known in Poland as one of the most scenic trail courses in the country. I cannot disagree with that! It was trully beautiful and I am so glad I went there. The course was not easy due to many rocks, large stones and tree roots protrading from the ground. It was hilly, of course but not as hilly as the mountain races I did before so it allowed to run most of the time without long walking breaks. But the hardest thing was the temperature of some 35 degrees Celsius (95 Fahrenheit!). It was really hot! However once again I found out that I do like summer and hot weather is not the biggest problem for me. I had my hydration pack with me and grank water very often. I finishesd in a surprisingly good form:)
